The NPA Annual Conference – this year entitled Innovation for smart and resilient communities – was held virtually on 23rd September 2020. At the conference, SENDoc's Prof Joan Condell chaired the breakout session “Towards resilient communities”, where she also presented an overview of the SENDoc project and the successful trials which have taken place. At the same breakout session, SENDoc's Prof Anna Nordstrom also presented work carried out in Umea for SENDoc. Our session “Towards resilient communities” was the most popular choice of the breakout sessions, and the conference organisers received very positive feedback about our presentations.

The full event was watched by approximately 200 participants, many of whom commented on how enjoyable an experience it had been.
